Trailer Maintenance Technician

Perform repairs on trailers, brakes, suspension, and structural components.

Thoroughly clean trailers and inspect for any signs of wear, damage, or potential issues.

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.

Work with others, including drivers and maintenance personnel to coordinate work.

Travel and work across different sites as needed to provide maintenance support.

Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance.

Document any recommendations for future maintenance.

Ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.

Respond promptly to urgent repair needs.

Attend training courses when required.

Maintain the highest standards of quality and safety throughout the process.

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Trailer Maintenance Technician. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and cleaning of trailers attached to our company vehicles. The ideal Trailer Maintenance Technician is a semi-skilled worker with previous experience in a similar role, possessing a strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to different work sites., Basic mechanical skills and the ability to use a variety of hand tools.

Familiarity with electrical systems and welding is a plus.

Willing to Travel with in works vehicle to different locations nationwide.

Ability to adjust to varying work conditions and schedules.

Happy working outdoors for long period of time.

Effective communication skills to interact with team members, drivers, and management.

Ability to interpret and follow drawings and schedules.

Be able to understand risk assessments.

Hold a Full UK driving licence.
