We have a fantastic opportunity for a new Bid Writer to join our national Tendering Team. The role offers an excellent insight and is perfect for anyone looking to build their knowledge and begin their career in the charitable sector. Applicants must be available to start this role from 1st August 2024.

Creative Support is a busy and dynamic national health & social care charity with 30 years' experience of providing person-centred and empowering support services in over 70 Local Authorities.

As a Trainee / Graduate Bid Writer, you'll learn to work across the entire bid process, including initial appraisal, developing bids/proposals, writing quality submissions, post submission responses and presentations. You will work with a lead writer on all your projects, as well as work closely with our operational and senior managers to inform your writing., Our Trainee / Graduate roles are offered as a 12 month development programme, where writers who achieve a high standard will advance to the role of Bid Writer following the 12 months, with opportunities to complete a professional qualification. We are currently recruiting for our 2024/25 programme for an August start.

You will need to be well organised, hard working and flexible as this is a fast paced and challenging role, working to multiple deadlines. You will have excellent writing abilities, as well as strong IT, research and problem-solving skills.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the services we offer and has a genuine drive to create excellent submissions that reinforce our person-centred approach to supporting vulnerable adults to achieve positive outcomes.

We have a strong team ethos, and you will receive structured training and on the job coaching alongside daily informal support. To excel, you must also be confident to work independently and take ownership of your development.
