Full Job Description

  • Following guided recipes, prepare and deliver cookery activities to children.

  • Encourage participation and development.

  • Take on a pastoral role as a group leader on camp.

  • Act as a point of contact for parents., Holiday childcare hits the future with an inspiring and fun 4 day tech camp, discovering, learning and creating fun and engaging tech projects. From arcade game making, coding and Micro:bit device building, to cyber security, and website build, every part of the technical mind will be fully exercised with this exciting camp!     Qualified, or working towards relevant qualifications, in nutrition, cookery or food technology or a self-taught foodie with the passion to get children excited about cookery.

  • Experience of working with children

  • Good organisation and communication skills.

  • A flexible team player, able to adapt to dynamic situations and challenges on camp.

  • Someone looking for a rewarding holiday job, whilst furthering their career in the childcare and coaching industry.


    • Desirable Requirements:
  • Experience/qualifications in teaching food technology

  • Hold a Paediatric First Aid (12 or 6 hour) or First Aid at Work qualification

    Salary Details
    £110.41 - £127.33 per day (Including 12.07% Holiday Pay)

  • Ultimate Cookery Leader, Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5.30pm (except on Mondays when you will be expected to start at 8am to set up for the week. Overtime for this will be paid), Paid pre-camp training programme to prepare you to be an Ultimate staff member.
