Full Job Description
- Conduct maintainence, tuning, diagnosis of vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and propose solutions.
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, timesheets and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
- Liasie with customers providing updates to work progress.
We are seeking a skilled vehicle mechanic to join our small team in the restoration of classic vehicles, specialising in landrovers. - Proof of right to work in the UK.
- Full preferable cleam driving licence.
- Competent in numeracy/literacy/IT., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle mechanics or Mechanical engineering.
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or Mechanical Engineer.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication skills, written & oral.
- Vehicle Mechanic: 4 years (required)
- English (required)
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Mechanical engineering (required)
- Driving Licence (required)
The workload will be varied and will include, but not limited to, general service and repair work to chassis replacements and complete classic vehicle renovations.
The ideal candidate will be qualified to NVQ Level 3, with a minimum of 4 years.
Individuals must have high engineering standards with an eye for detail, self driven motivated and enthusiastic.,
