Full Job Description

Depending on your skill level and experience the role will involve:

  • Utilising your technical knowledge to carry out services, repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, including minor and major mechanical work

  • Complete electrical and engine repair work

  • Meet and discuss the vehicle and repairs needed with the customer when necessary

  • Carry out road tests of customer vehicles after work has been carried out

  • Using advanced diagnostic equipment to fault find items relevant to the franchise brand

  • Ability to complete a Vehicle Health Checks

  • Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards to health and safety

    If you're a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician, with one year of experience in car servicing, maintenance and diagnostics, we'd love to speak to you!, Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent

  • Ideally Hybrid / EV trained but if not training will be provided

  • Car servicing and repair experience in either a main dealership, independent garage or other car servicing company

  • Possess a positive, can-do attitude

  • Have the passion and ability to deliver an outstanding customer experience

  • Be enthusiastic, respectful and friendly to guests and colleagues

  • Have an honest and diligent approach to work

  • A full and valid UK Driving Licence is essential

    About Calex UK and the recruitment process:

  • Monday to Friday 8.30 am - 5.15 pm

  • Saturday on a rota


  • Salary
  • Basic salary range £25,000 to £40,000 per year

  • Plus substantial bonus opportunities of £6,500 per year
