Volunteer Trustees

At Square Food Foundation we believe that cooking can change your life.

We are a registered charity providing food and cookery education and training to a wide range of people, including teaching cookery skills to schools in Bristol. We are passionate about food and cooking, and have been at the forefront of food education in Bristol for the past 20 years.

Our Board of Trustees is currently made up of 7 trustees and they are a valuable resource for the charity. They are a sounding board, advisory committee and support network and we look to them to provide expertise, experience and good governance.

We are looking to recruit up to 4 new trustees to strengthen the current board and help us take Square Food Foundation from strength to strength. We would like to recruit trustees that can bring new skills and experience, but we would also welcome applications from those aiming to develop their skills and expand their experiences.

We particularly would like to recruit someone who would act as our Finance Director and someone who would be interested in acting as Chair in the future. We want to achieve a more diverse board and aim to have a board that better reflects the communities we work with. With that in mind we would welcome expressions of interest from people who live in South Bristol; have been involved in finance or accounting; education; digital and social media; or traded income.
