Full Job Description
The position of Warehouse Operative involves:
- Using a Counterbalance to load and unload palletised goods from trailers, rigid vehicles and vans.
- Using the warehouse system & scanner to receive, locate goods into the racking, pick & dispatch whilst handling all goods with care and attention.
- Replenishing and consolidation of stock when required.
- General housekeeping and upkeep of the warehousing area and equipment.
- Completing any relevant paperwork in line with the warehouse processes to include reporting any defects.
Do you have Warehouse experience? Do you hold a Counterbalance Licence?, A current Counterbalance forklift licence is preferred, although full inhouse training can be provided. - Previous experience of working within the pallet network industry.
- Good communication and team working skills.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative., Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)
