Full Job Description
- To accurately sort & distribute orders sent into transport into correct van routes/areas., Unloading CDC/RDC trunker correctly and safely.
- Reloading CDC/RDC trunker correctly and safely.
- Safe transfer of load to despatch bay.
- Correctly sorting and distribution of orders.
- Correct distribution/storage of trays/bins.
- Adherence to checking off procedures.
- Maintain standards in accordance with Health & Safety policy.
- Damages awareness and procedures.
- Understanding productivity.
- Importance of security.
- Maintaining a good standard of housekeeping., It should be noted that manual handling tasks such as lifting and bending are "essential requirements" of this role.
- High Visual Accuracy
- Good verbal communication skills
- Basic written communication skills
- Basic Numeracy and Literacy
- Customer care
- Any previous experience of working in a warehouse environment would be highly desirable

What you will be doing

Pay Rate: Up to £15.21 per hour, made up of basic rate of £11.44 plus night shift premium for any hours worked between 10pm and 6am.
