Warehouse and Transport Supervisor

Working alongside the Transport Manager, the post holder will be responsible for providing on-site operational and administrative support. Responsibilities cover all aspects of the administrative and compliance duties of the Warehouse and transport office. Plus aiding with drivers from pre-departure to return and de-brief.

· To help and assist in the daily management of the Warehouse and transport office.

· To learn and undertake the completing all daily tasks for compliance purposes.

· To take and make telephone calls with Drivers, Sales Offices and Colleagues to maintain deliveries and real time information.

· Maintain information on the Transport Management System.

· Engage positively with the driving staff.

· Assist with customer collections, and process returns

· IT literate

· Strong organisational skills and time management techniques.

· There is a strong requirement to be flexible, articulate and able to cope in an ever-changing environment.

· Written and oral communication skills

· Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office

· good telephone manner

Desirable Requirement:

· Forklift truck experience. Counter Balance, and Reach.
