Woodworking Technical Editor

To provide technical support, and to assist with commissioning and overseeing the editorial content of the following magazines: Woodworking Crafts, Furniture and Cabinetmaking, Woodcarving, Woodturning and other titles and publishing ventures as required.

· Be able to demonstrate a wide knowledge of the woodworking disciplines, the techniques involved for both hand and power woodworking alongside appropriate tool usage, the health & Safety implications and requirements and practical experience in the woodworking disciplines

· Ability to manage staff, work to a budget and effectively liaise with authors, manufacturers and other people necessary to create the woodworking magazines and other such titles as required

· Be able to demonstrate ability to operate and use the relevant machinery, tools, hardware, software, needed to carry out the tasks required
