The position will involve working 40 hours a week and there will be a requirement to cover the on-call service on a rota system. This role is full-time site based. Further details of the rota will be discussed at the interview.,

Receive telephone calls from and making telephone calls to pet owner to make arrangement for the cremation of pets

Taking payment for the cremation of pets

Responding to enquiries/queries from general public and veterinary clients

Maintaining a record of calls and financial transactions on Company systems

Collecting deceased pets from clients' homes / veterinary practices

Attending to pet owners visiting the crematorium in person

Preparing pets for viewing

Handling pets in a respectful and dignified manner

Assisting with the packing, checking and return of pets' ashes

Covering our On-Call Gold Leaf Collection Service on a rota system

Preparing pet keep sakes such as paw prints in clay and fur keepsakes

Other ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Within this role you will be working as part of a team, but also predominantly by yourself. We require someone with empathy, strong communication skills and a proven track record of excellent customer service.
