What you'll learn
The Advanced Level Apprenticeship incorporates a greater level of responsibility within your daily tasks and duties. Once accepted on to the Apprenticeship, you'll study on a 'release' basis, spending occasional days at the College learning the knowledge that supports your Apprenticeship and the majority of your working days with your employer.
During your Apprenticeship, you will be trained and assessed in a variety of specialisms within the automotive industry. The exact areas covered will vary according to the focus of your course and the needs
and demands of your employer.

Operating principles of engines

Operating principles and maintenance of transmission systems

Operating principles of electrical and electronic systems

Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths, English & IT, unless you have achieved grades 8-4 at GCSE or equivalent
