We are looking for a new team member as an Animal Care Assistant, you will be working as part of the Ashley Heath team reporting into Kate Wickins.

This part-time role is on a 4 week rotaweek 1 Wednesday part day (5hrs) Friday/Saturday/Sunday full days (7.5hrs each day)week 2 Wednesday full day week 3 Tuesday full day Friday part day (5hrs)week 4 Monday,Wednesday,Friday full days

Experience working with animals, either through paid or voluntary work (not including your own pets).

Resilience - many of the animals in our care have been victims of neglect and/or cruelty.

Willing to undertake practical work outdoors in all weather.

Excellent communication and team working skills - you'll be working with colleagues across the RSPCA, volunteers and members of the public.

Able to multitask and work under pressure - working with animals can be busy and unpredictable!

Comfortable with using IT - you'll be keeping computerised records on the animals under your care.

We are located in a rural area with limited public transport. It is therefore important you have your own means of transport to travel to and from work.
